Yes, but we will inspect your equipment to make sure it meets our safety standards. All goggles must be full-face masks and be unaltered. There can be no cracks in the lenses at all. Weapons must be semi-automatic with a trigger guard. If there is a question if your weapon can be used here, a staff member will make it. The decision of staff is final. All CO2 or High Pressure tanks must be in test date. High-pressure fibre wrap tanks may not have any cracks or fraying and can't have any stickers, decals or other coverings on them. Maximum velocity is 350 fps.

During the summer months always carry bug spray and sunscreen. Application of bug spray should be done before you play and will keep the pests off you while on our many courses. Avoid using bug spray near your goggles. It will damage goggle lenses and other plastic equipment. In the winter lip-balm and good warm gloves are a must. Remember, we are outdoors so dress for the weather.

You can bring your own BB's if you can prove they are Biodegradable. Special Ops Airsoft Junior is situated in Hollington Wood an ancient woodland with over 45 acre of space to play and enjoy. For this reason care must be taken at all times when walking around the woods. Only Biodegradable BB's are allowed on site to help protect this delicate environment, unless you can prove your BB's are biodegradable, they will not be allowed on site.

People who play Airsoft comes from all walks of life with varying experience. Fitness plays a part but players only needs to be in good physical condition to enjoy the games. Some people like to run around all the time while others like to hide and play a less physical game. Adequate breaks are encourage as part of the games.

The sting of the BB hit is what makes this game unique. The thrill of running and jumping, dodging the BB's goes right back to your childhood, and the competition of trying to make the point to win the overall game just adds to the rush. So although getting "marked" by a BB might sting a little, the sensation is similar to getting popped with a towel and will usually go away in a couple seconds.

The BB’s are a small plastic ball. You need to make sure you wear long pants, like jeans, something that you don't mind getting dirty. The dirt from jumping into fox holes and rolling around in the leaves will create more stains. Remember, you are in the woods and bugs and sticks are still around. Long sleeve shirts are highly recommended, even in the summer time. As to foot attire, be sure to wear something comfortable and again, something you don't mind getting dirty. We provide everything else that is needed for you to enjoy a fun filled day of Airsoft. Combat Jackets are available if required. Glover are recommended for all under 18.

The minimum age to play Airsoft is 10, parent to determine if their particular child is mature enough to handle the responsibilities that come along with playing Airsoft. Here are a few questions to ask yourself if your child is ready or not: can my child follow the simple rules in the safety brief that will not only protect him/her, but also their fellow players will he/she panic when they get hit (e.g. take their goggles off during play) will he/she cry when they get hit (don't want them to be embarrassed) usually if the child is active with any type of outdoor sports, they will be fine with Airsoft. If you are still undecided if your child is mature enough, speak to the event organiser.

This briefing explains the important safety rules at the site, along with how to properly use the equipment and play the game. We also require guests to chronograph their equipment before each game. This allows us to make sure no guests are exceeding the maximum velocity of 350 fps (feet per second).
